The NY Times is so runner friendly. Here is an interesting article about some folks who are gathering scientific evidence for the existence of the "runner's high." ...As for me, I know for sure that I am a healthier, more balanced person because of all this running. My energy level is more even, I sleep better at night, and I'm more focused throughout the day when I'm running regularly. I wish I could say I watch less TV, but then I'd be lying. How bout you?
